The Pink Floyd 1973 Collection is a new and exclusive Abbey Road Studios x Pink Floyd collaboration coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the seminal The Dark Side of The Moon recorded at Abbey Road between 30 May 1972 – 9 February 1973. Inspired by the familiar personality and visual language that runs through the fabric of the iconic album, the artwork has been reimagined and carefully selected for each product to illustrate the story of The Dark Side of The Moon like never before.
The band name in a stencil print on the front of the hoodie, incorporating the iconic refracted colours seamlessly throughout the design. On the back, the product design features the Iconic TDSOTM pyramid reworked in gold with gold light refracting into the rainbow. The spoken word from the album runs along both arms, with the classic rainbow colours transitioning through the text as each word unfolds, stating “There is no dark side of the moon, matter of fact it’s all dark.”
