Description
The Pink Floyd 1973 Collection is a new and exclusive Abbey Road Studios x Pink Floyd collaboration coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the seminal The Dark Side of The Moon recorded at Abbey Road between 30 May 1972 – 9 February 1973. Inspired by the familiar personality and visual language that runs through the fabric of the iconic album, the artwork has been reimagined and carefully selected for each product to illustrate the story of The Dark Side of The Moon like never before.
The band name in a stencil print on the front of the hat, incorporating the iconic refracted colours seamlessly throughout the design. On the reverse, the product design features a hand-written studio note from the original session sheet dated 30.5.72, which showcases that the recording took place in Studio Three with engineer Alan Parsons.
