Abbey Road Studios has been welcoming music makers and innovators since it opened on 12 November 1931, with Sir Edward Elgar conducting Land of Hope & Glory in Studio One. Since then, Abbey Road has been home to countless landmark recordings and unparalleled innovation in music technology. Reflecting the studios’ rich history, this highly detailed architectural illustration shows the iconic Georgian townhouse as it appeared in 1931 and as it stands today.

This print has been specially commissioned to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Abbey Road Studios’ opening, detailing the building in present day, and the sepia reflection of the converted Georgian villa when it opened as a recording studio in November 1931.

The four-colour process printing method is on archival stock Mohawk Superfine white Eggshell 270gsm paper and embellished with delicate gold foil blocking. This is then individually hand numbered, blind embossed with our logo and has been exclusively produced for Abbey Road Studios by a family run UK company who have been print specialists for over 40 years.
